Understanding Ancore.

Not developer documentation. A plain-language guide to what Ancore is measuring, what the numbers mean, and why they matter for your store.

Section 1

How to Interpret Your Health Score

A weighted composite of compliance, SEO, and policy integrity.

What the score means

Your Health Score is a 0–100 summary derived from the issue categories and severities detected by the latest completed Ancore scan.

A higher score means fewer currently detected issues within Ancore's supported rule set. It does not certify legal compliance, Google Merchant Center acceptance, search ranking, or revenue performance.

A score must always be read together with the underlying observations and their timestamps.

Why these weightings?

Severity weights help order work; they are not financial forecasts. Ancore prioritizes source inconsistency, broken purchasing or policy surfaces, and missing material product information above optional optimization advice.

Section 2

What is Verification?

How Ancore confirms a fix is real - not just resolved on paper.

AUTO Verification

When you mark an issue as fixed, Ancore starts a new authenticated Shopify and storefront scan. The scanner evaluates the rule that created the original issue.

If the check passes, the issue is marked Verified and moves out of your Priority Queue. Your Health Score updates in real time.

If the check fails, the issue is re-surfaced with a timestamp showing the failed verification attempt.

MANUAL Verification

Some issues cannot be verified programmatically — for example, a GMC appeal that requires a human review from Google, or a feed attribute that is cached by Google's systems for 48–72 hours.

For these, Ancore records Manual Review Required. A merchant confirmation is retained as an action record, not converted into an automated PASS.

Section 3

How does Ancore describe commercial impact?

Observed facts are separated from possible business consequences.

No synthetic revenue values

The Paid Beta does not calculate “revenue protected” or “revenue lost” from issue severity. Ancore reports the observed condition, affected resources, source, and possible consequence without presenting a dollar value as evidence.

What Ancore can prove

Ancore can prove what its supported scanners observed at a recorded time and whether a later re-check still detected the same rule. It does not guarantee platform acceptance, ranking improvements, avoided losses, or that every possible store problem will be detected.
